Well, it took quite a bit of work and a little more time than I thought it would, but Green House Pottery is finally open for business! The Gallery/Shop will open on Friday, and will feature my functional work and some of my sculptural work, as well. Here is a peek inside: The studio/teaching space is still a work in progress, but I hope to be able to finish it in the next few months. Until then, please stop by, check out the shop, and say hello!
You may have a noticed Green House Pottery sign in the window of the old Barre Street Market. That is because a year ago in January, we finally took a leap and decided that the building that for many years housed the Barre Street Market would now be the new home of Green House Pottery. For the past year, I have been hard at work transforming the space into a gallery and studio space, where I will make work and eventually hope to teach classes. For now, it is very much in a work in progress, but we hope to be open for business by the end of May 2023. Right now the building looks something like this. But there is magic happening inside, and I can't wait to show you what it becomes. Stay tuned for more updates!
Capital City Farmers MarketI'm happy to announce that I will be a vendor at the Capital City Farmers Market. I'll be rolling the Art Cart down to 133 State Street on the first and third Saturday of every month. Come by to see some new work, and support our local farmers too.
