Class Offerings


Spring Classes are now full, and registration is closed. If you’re interested in classes, please join my mailing list. That’s the best way to be sure that you’ll know when my next session posts for the fall at the end of the summer.

Afterschool Clay - 5th Grade and up.

Wednesday Afternoons, 3:15pm - 5:00pm - April 8th - June 17th

First time students will learn the basics of making objects out of clay, and will learn how clay and glazes fired in a kiln are turned from mud to stone, and into beautiful works of art. Returning students are welcome, and will have a more self directed experience. Everyone will leave this class with several finished functional, and/or sculptural objects, and have an opportunity to work on the wheel. This class is limited to five students. $325

Hand-building for Adults - Beginner to Advanced- April 8th - June 17th

This class will serve as an introduction to clay, the hand-building process and the studio. It will serve as a pre-requisite and foundational course for anyone interested in taking any other class at Green House Pottery. For returning students this is a self directed class, and participants can throw or hand-build if they would like. First time wheel throwers should take the a throwing class instead of this one. Class is limited to five students. $350

This class is open to anyone who has already taken the hand-building class here at Green House. Over the course of 10 weeks, first time students will explore the wheel and focus on the basics of wheel throwing, focusing on cups, mugs and bowls to start, and will experiment with trimming and additions like handles. Returning students will build on prior experiences and explore as they like, throwing or hand-building. This class is limited to five students. $350
