This little beauty is of midtown Manhattan as seen from Roosevelt Island. Taken at the time of its construction, it features 432 Park Avenue, which is the first super skinny, super tall residential building. 2.2" x tall x 3" diameter
The City Mug series were part of a body of work that I sold on the streets of Manhattan and Brooklyn as souvenirs. As objects I wanted them to speak of the city that they depicted, and be more than just some knick-knack that a tourist picked up on the street in the Big Apple. Now, several years later this mug represents part of a limited series.
